How is my data used and how long do you store it?

When Clean Drive scans your Google Drive account, it will retrieve a minimal amount of data about your files to accurately show what can be cleaned up in your Google Drive account. The Clean Drive app scans your account without downloading the content of every file but does store basic (meta) information about each file (file name, creation date, owner, etc). This approach allows Clean Drive to quickly scan many terabytes of data stored in Google Drive.

This data is not sold or used for anything except to help you organize your files in Google Drive.

Clean Drive will automatically remove this data after 30 days of inactivity in your account.

You can contact us if you would like your data removed sooner. You can also read more about how Clean Drive handles your data in the privacy policy and terms of service.
